Does it cost anything to join?

No. Joining is completely free. There are no joining fees and no monthly fees. You only ever pay a commission on orders you accept and complete.

Do I have to accept every order?

No. You are never obliged to take an order. If one does not suit you, your schedule or your style, just decline it and we will offer it to another baker.

What do I need to join?

A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, registration of your kitchen with your local council, and public liability insurance. These keep your customers safe and everyone properly protected.

Who deals with the customer?

We do. We handle the enquiry, the design, the pricing, the payment and all customer communication. You focus on baking and delivering the cake locally.

How do I get paid?

The customer pays Bake You Happy when they order, and we pay you your share by bank transfer shortly after the cake has been delivered.

Where in the UK are you recruiting?

Right across the UK, including Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Newcastle, Cardiff, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry, Bradford and Southampton, plus the towns around them.
